Frontend Developer

Build new features and work across the entire product – from usability and design to writing highly performant code;
Work with various JavaScript tools/technologies/frameworks such as React/Redux;
Ensure cross browser compatibility across both desktop and mobile;
Work with Designers to improve usability for hundreds of thousands of end users;
Share your knowledge and help the team evolve best practices:
Work in small autonomous teams with short release cycles;
Work in CI/CD setup with Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes;
Be responsible for your production infrastructure and own the full life-cycle of your code - you write it, you own it!

Past experience in frontend development - preference given to candidates who have experience with large applications of some scale;
Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds;
Strong understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3;
Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as ReactJS;
Experience with responsive design;
Product mindset and care about user experience;
Ability to write clean and efficient JavaScript code;
Care about code quality, test automation and usability of the end product.

As part of the Merchant Domain at Klarna, you’ll be embedded in a feature team, actively contributing to design and direction of our flagship products Klarna Checkout and Klarna Payments.

Whether working on a feature that helps smooth payments for millions of monthly active users or working to test out new hypotheses around what consumers want, you’ll work in small teams, responsible for making sure that our users get the best experience possible.
