Overview
Essity has recently established a team to deliver IT solutions for automating business processes. Using RPA (Robotic Process Automation) as software automation tool we directly contribute to Essity’s strategy by increasing quality, saving time and reducing cost in performance of foremost repetitive and rule based activities. We will also explore new technologies to digitalize business processes, including cognitive solutions and intelligent automation.

You will receive training in the RPA tools and join our current developers in first projects.
Location for this position is Gothenburg.

Main Tasks
Develop and test automation solutions with RPA tools
Participate in design workshops, derive requirements and solution design
Contribute to development guidelines, knowledge sharing and best-practice patterns for reuse
Proactively suggest changes and improvements for business processes based on automation best-practice and capabilities
Quality assurance and peer reviews
Support daily operations incl. issue resolution, root cause analysis for problems and continuous improvement

Key Competencies
Programming experience in any programming language with understanding of programming concepts and design skills
Very strong analytical and problem solving skills
Basic understanding of software development process
Team player, results-oriented and fast learner
Able to work under tight timeline and cope with changing priorities
Being creative and demonstrate ‘out of the box’ thinking
Knowledge of VB.NET, C#, VBA or other scripting languages is a benefit
Experience with Agile methods and DevOps is a benefit
