Job Description

In this role you will be the major technical contact to our customers. This means you will be in direct contact with broadcasters all over the globe. You will be part of a Professional Services team, setting up, configuring and customizing systems at customer sites, including integration with 3rd party hardware and software as well. The team is also responsible for answering technical questions from the customers as well as the technical solutions delivered. Most of the work will be done with remote access but there will also be significant opportunities to travel to customers in interesting parts of the world.

Skills required for this position:
- Master of Science with computer science skills or equivalent.
- Installation and maintenance of Unix systems and storage systems, primarily Linux.
- Software development in Unix environment. Primarily automation and server software.
- Programming experience in Java and scripting languages like Perl and Python
- Knowledge about technologies such as XML, REST and SOAP.
- Experience in large scale storage systems and database software like Oracle and DB2
- Knowledge and experience from broadcast and media environments
- Relevant experience of professional system administration.
- Self motivated, responsible, and responsive to customer requirements.
- Comfortable in technically complex environments.
- Good level of English, both writing and speaking.

Language skills in Swedish or Chinese is desirable.
