We are looking for an IT Operations & IT Service Desk Team Leader to maintain and develop the IT infrastructure, which consists of an on-premises data center, AWS, and a hosting partner in Sweden. You will supervise a team of 8, including the technical team and our IT Service Desk team who gives support internally for different services and our in-house developed web platform.You will be responsible for the team’s day to day operations to ensure that quality standards and SLAs are met.
In the IT Service Desk team, a big part of the job is to support our in-house developed software. Our DIAKRIT Help Desk handles the contact with our clients & will escalate issues that you need to troubleshoot together with our developers.
As the Team Leader, you will work proactively with problem and service management, finding solutions to always be one step ahead. By analyzing data, you will see the possibilities to automate and improve our services.
You will report to the IT & System Dev. Manager and will be part of an IT/R&D department of about 30 people.
Could this be you?
To fit into this role, you need to be passionate about providing excellent service, have a genuine interest of computers and previous experience from working at a Service Desk and infrastructure responsibility. Since we are working according to the ITIL lifecycle in terms of incidents, service requests, changes, etc. it’s important that you are used to working in an ITIL environment.
We believe you have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an IT Service Desk Team Leader
- Minimum 2 years with responsibility of infrastructure
- Very good knowledge in IT service management
- ITIL Foundation certificate
- Good Knowledge in Linux (web servers, MySQL servers)
- Good knowledge in Windows server (file servers, AD, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
- Knowledge in PHP & MySQL is an advantage
