Front-end Developer

The Cloakroom is a personal shopping service born in the heart of Amsterdam. We were founded in May 2013 by two young Danes and ever since have experienced a roller coaster. In a fast pace we believe we will change the industry and we need your help! Due to our tremendous growth we are looking for a talented Front-end Developer.

As our Front-end Developer, you will be responsible for the development of our website and various applications that support our personal shoppers. You will closely work together with our marketing and technology teams to make sure your changes will result in higher conversion. We use continuous integration and work according to Scrum.

Key responsibilities:

• Development and improvement of the website
• Designing new apps within our platform
• Sparring partner for our tech team and marketing team.

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in front-end web development
• Proven experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript including modern JS frameworks (e.g. AngularJS), CSS pre-preprocessing (e.g SASS) and associated tooling (e.g. Bower, Grunt etc.)
• Ability to work with other dedicated UI designers, turning designs into functioning user interfaces
• An understanding of web performance, XSS, CSRF and cookies
• Ability to work with Python/Django
• Great communication skills, responsible and a team player in a Scrum environment
• Fluent in English.
