Due to our tremendous growth we are looking for talented Python Developers to join our Amsterdam based men’s fashion startup. We are open for CV’s from worldwide software developers who have experience with Python.

Our technology stack consists of Python/Django, MongoDB, Debian, AWS, nginx, Git and more. We work according to Scrum and are big fans of continuous integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take high-level design choices and decide on technical standards, including coding standards, tools and frameworks
• Oversee and decide on API’s, applications and other components in our SOA environment
• Design and develop API’s, tools and applications that support our personal shoppers in their day-to-day work
• Develop new features and fix bugs for The Cloakroom’s website
• Take the lead in projects
• Administration and provisioning of cloud servers (AWS EC2, Linode)

Skills & Requirements:

• Pragmatic, proactive and independent work ethic
• Excellent communication skills
• 1-5 years experience with (web) software development, preferably in PHP, Java, Python, C/C++ or Ruby
• Experience with relational databases, preferably MySQL
• Fluent in English

Bonus Points

• Experience with Vagrant, Puppet and similar provisioning tools
• Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB or RethinkDBExperience with administering Debian or Ubuntu GNU/Linux systems
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2)
