Frontend Developer

About the Role:

As a Frontend Developer at Trialbee, you will be our leading frontend expert and will work together with our development team to create beautiful websites and applications. As an integral part of the team you will work directly with our design team to create an interactive mockup that you will later convert into code using your expert skills in CSS and HTML. At Trialbee, your work will be used to engage with patients and help them with their clinical trial journey that will hopefully provide them with new treatment methods to help them live healthy lives! Whether that means creating the interface for a website that will help them find the right trial that they are looking for or creating the design for a mobile app that will help them track their trial progress.

Who you are:

You love contributing with creative and unique solutions for design. You know how to create the code yourself without using bootstrap or other css frameworks. You are accustomed to working working with graphical designers or interaction designers and translating their design into code. You love working in a team and have no problem explaining or sharing your ideas with others. You know the latest tech and are eager to learn new things.

To be successful in this role you:

• have at least 5 years of advanced frontend development using CSS and HTML
• have professional experience working with graphical designers or interaction designers and translating their design into code
• are a great communicator and have no problem explaining your ideas or the process behind a certain project.
• are fluent in English (fluency both spoken and written english is a must)
• preferably dabbled with own design projects or have done graphical design at work

It is not mandatory but is an advantage if you have experience working with stylesheet preprocessors (sass/scss/less) and JavaScript and JavaScript various libraries such as React, Angularjs, Node.js.

We rely on git for versioning and our workflow involves review processes before it gets shipped to production environments. Our backend stack is JavaScript based and we're hosting our services on a cloud platform. Our frontend stack is also JavaScript based, specifically using React and React Native.
