Together with internal and external resources we drive research and development in areas related to digital innovation. We are constantly looking into new and existing technologies and how they can be utilized to solve any business challenge for IKEA. We work with explorative and methods where iterations, prototyping and early user testing are key elements. Some examples of our current work are API development for improved stock availability information and digitalisation of current ways of working in the IKEA stores.

About the assignment
A Solution Architect at Incubation Services will be responsible for the creation of innovative solutions together with our business to Test & Learn about future opportunities. In this role you will support IKEA growing and accelerating into the new digitalization era by having a good understanding and hands on practice of technology that could create possibilities for IKEA.

Responsibilities:
• Act as a change leader in promoting an innovation culture within Operations and Shared Services. Collaborate with stakeholders to create and shape ideas into solutions.
• Creation and implementation of MVPs and designs with different IT components
• Follow decided architecture standards and ensure fulfilment of the functional and non-functional requirements in the solution.
• You will represent the Operations and Shared Services in relevant Governance Forums and Projects connected to cloud or other innovative projects.

The position will be placed in Helsingborg and you will be required to travel to our offices in Malmö and Älmhult from time to time.

• Understanding the role of solution architecture and having the ability to identify areas for architecture focus in development of new solutions.

• An interest of working and supporting a wide range of initiatives in close collaboration with our business organizations

• Full-stack experience (UX, frontend, backend and automation) with the ability to architect and develop an end to end solution
• Detailed technical knowledge of multiple industry leading cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Microsoft Azure. Solid background working in an agile environment and teams
