Fullstack Developer to Betsson

Stockholm Headhunting has been commissioned to find a Fullstack Developer for Betsson.

Betsson is an international gaming portal that provides sports betting, casino, live casino, lottery, bingo and poker online. Betsson started in 2001 and has subsequently expanded rapidly, after four years on the market, they reached 100,000 registered customers. Four years afterwards they achieved a million registered customers. Today they have about 2,000 employees with 120 employees at the Stockholm office.

The site team in Stockholm, currently consisting of 27 colleagues, work cross-functional with development on their different brand sites. The environment is dynamic with very competent and helpful colleagues with expertise in many different areas. You will be involved in the construction and launch of Betsson's new platform ”SportsBook”, the new Betting site with 4,000 global sport events - both live betting and traditional betting. The platform will be full-scale and built with the latest technology to meet the needs of the business. You will also work on new development for the other 28 brands that Betsson provides. The sites you will work on are complex, and work will range from integration to their different providers to styling using cutting edge frameworks and technology, making the job both challenging and fun. 

The person they are looking for have previous experience as full stack web developer with knowledge and understanding in agile methodologies as well as a passion for frontend development. You have previous experience using JavaScript, TypeScript and/or other modern frameworks. You have also worked with backend development, preferably in C# or Java since the team works with the whole stack. If you also have experience from Ionic2 and RedUx, that would be of great interest. You enjoy solving complex challenges and preferably you have a relevant university degree. If you have previous experience from the gaming or betting industry that would be considered advantageous.

As a person, you are communicative, driven, independent and curious. At Betsson they work exclusively in English, therefore it is vital that you are fluent in English. If web development is an interest even outside of working hours and you spend time reading and catching up on new technology and might even have hobby projects, you are the kind of developer they are searching for.
