You will work with one of our clients where you will be responsible for the development, testing and implementing of software. This means you are end-to-end responsible for realizing your own code and implementing it with a sound understanding of the existing software architecture and applying state-of-the-art technologies. You will produce high quality, efficient and maintainable code using Java technologies. You will also integrate and maintain different OS/platforms, work according to agile methodology (Scrum), including performing code reviews, design reviews, testing and writing documentation. You are also expected to analyze high level requirements and translate these into detailed specifications and designs, write unit test code, structures, and scripts and support software testers with identifying and solving test issues.
We are looking for a software developer with a degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, technical physics or similar, and relevant experience from the automotive industry or other similar technology areas.
-5 years’ experience from embedded systems and development (Java, C/C++)
-Knowledge of system model development in Matlab/Simulink
-Experience from connectivity technologies (e.g. Bluetooth, WiFi)
-Experience from SW test, validation and automation
-Experience from agile development is meritorious
-Experience in Android stack is meritorious
-Experience from Volvo Cars, Volvo AB or CEVT is meritorious
