Trelleborg Sealing Solutions expands and are now, through Academic Work, looking for a software developer in Java to support the current IT-department in their office in Kalmar. Here you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment with clients in the automotive industry in both Europe and Asia. You will have a key position in the office where you will provide the organization with development of new and existing industry-specific applications and systems. Your manager and a colleague will introduce you in your role, and you will get coaching and education by consultants at the company.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As an Application developer, you will independently be responsible for the maintenance and development of the enterprise resource planning system (ERP), as well as the applications in the framework ComActivity. You will primarily be responsible for improving current systems and applications for storage and production, like tool handling, measurement data, and material handling. Development includes extending, updating and improving existing applications and systems accordance with requirement analysis provided by your coworkers, to make sure they are user friendly and fulfill the needs of the organization. The projects you will be responsible for will vary in context and size, which in turn leads to a diversified employment where you will follow the process from start to implemenation and really see the result of your work. Since you will be working independently, you will have the opportunity to control your work and work hours after your own preferences. As you grow into the role, you will be able to develop new features and run your own projects.

You will be working with:

* Develop functions in Java in accordance to user’s and customer’s needs
* Test and deliver solid, reliable code that meets all functional and non-functional requirements

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* Computer science degree, or equivalent education within IT.

* Programming experience in Java in a professional environment.
* Good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written. We also wish that you speak Swedish, or at least have an ambition to learn.

You have knowledge in SQL and meritorious if you have previous work experience in the manufacturing industry.
