About the position

We are developing a live streaming product in a gaming environment, a live casino, with dealers working on the other side of Europe. We need to deploy to several servers and this for all web browsers and operating systems, for desktop, tablets and mobile phones. And for different markets in different parts of the world.

To deal with this challenge we are continuously developing our platform and this is the opportunity to jump on this train packed with technical challenges.

As a Java developer in the NetEnt Live team, you will be part of a cross-functional development team where the team members are the ones deciding how the platform is designed and developed in the best possible way contributing to high product quality.

To thrive in this role it is important that you enjoy working in an agile, dynamic environment. You have a can-do mentality and are eager to actively contribute to the work we do by learning and applying the latest technologies. You are inquisitive and enjoying learning new technologies, techniques, tools or whatever it takes to get things done as efficiently as possible.

So if you’re a seasoned Java Developer, come here and participate in building this highly technical challenging platform using Java 8, Java EE, distributed architectures, TDD, and Continuous Delivery. If you are also familiar with data streaming technologies like Storm, Spark or Samza, distributed messaging systems like Kafka and Hadoop ecosystem is a plus.
