The Project Support & Administration Directorate at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund, Sweden, invites applications for a System Developer position in the Information Technology Division.
Description of division/group
The purpose of the IT Division is to provide sufficient, secure and cost-efficient IT to support ESS throughout its lifecycle. The purpose of the Information Systems Group specifically is to develop solutions as well as supplying maintenance of the developed solutions to the entire outreach of ESS and its affiliates. Description of main responsibilities
As our new 3DExperience System developer you would focus on system development (customisations, configurations) as well as troubleshooting, bug fixing and technical support of Dassault 3DExperience platform. Main responsibility and focus would be, but are not limited to, Catia v6 integration (with PLM platform).
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate would have:
• Minimum 5 years of experience of system development of CAD tool integrations with PLM, preferably Catia v6 and 3DExperience (Enovia).
• Experience of working in high speed projects, with an ability to adapt to different development methods such as lean, agile waterfall etc.
• A very cooperative approach and a capability to work tightly with other developers, project leaders, analysts and system testers.
• Experience of actually using CAD tools and understanding the process - although not decisive, but definitely a plus.
Techniques that are used in daily work, and that should be managed comfortably are:
Primarily: java, tcl, mql, 3DExperience and Catia v6 integration
Secondarily: html, javascript, xml, Linux, .net/C#
To be successful and perform well in this position, we think that the right candidate, except from having the above mentioned experience, is a real team player with a professional and service-minded attitude. The person is really interested in his/her area of expertise and is keen on keeping oneself up to speed with the latest technology and sharing this knowledge within the group. Excellent oral and written English skills are a prerequisite.

Duration & Location
The position is permanent with six months initial probationary period. Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden. The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
