Digital Radio Developer

Your will have the opportunity to work with
• Perform feasibility studies of different Radio subsystems in early phase of our projects.
• Link budget calculation of complete up-link and down-link transceiver chains. Especially the Digital Front End blocks
• Simulate complete chain including Digital Front End. Understand how the analog and digital sub-circuits interact and complement each other.
• Corporate with other teams to achieve the overall budget and performance. Verify that sub-circuits are achieving performance goals.

Requirements
• 5Years of work experience in the current field
• Master of science or PhD in Electrical engineering or Applied physics.
• Strong background in Digital Signal processing and Radio System design
• Excellent capability with tools like Matlab . Experience with Radio performance tools and simulators
• Experience with existing physical radio interface standards, new standards and concepts like 5G is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written English

We are now looking for entusiastic digital radio developers
In 5G there will be a need for more integrated solutions where Digital ASIC, Transceiver, Filter, RF ASIC's and Antennas are in the same system in a package or module. This puts more focus on designing with tools simulating performance of the complete system.
In the Radio Design section within the Radio Products & Variants organization in Lund you contribute to the design and verification of our state-of-the-art 5G products. The work is done together with other cross-functional teams in Lund and other sites in Ericsson globally. We are looking for a Senior Digital Radio Designer to work with all the aspects of the product design. Definition of a product, performance link-budget, system design, measurements, and documentation. The position is senior so we would like to see at least 5 years of work or academic experience.
