DevOps/SysAdmin - Monitoring

Do you dig Big Data and systems that handles 36 Billion transactions? As our new DevOps/SysAdmin you will be part of the Casino Analytics team. We are responsible for developing and maintaining the platforms for monitoring, time-series, and log management as well as ensuring we are compliant in terms of what, when and how we monitor our systems.

This includes requirement and design work in our development projects, involvement in setting up and testing, deploying new monitoring systems and making sure that we are monitoring in the best possible way. You’ll also play an important role in training and educating your fellow NetEnters in regards of logging and advise in requirements for different projects.

What´s the deal?
You will play a vital part in maintaining and developing the tools used for monitoring (OP5), analytics and log management (ELK/Elastic Stack). In addition you will be conducting training and educating fellow NetEnters on the above systems, and of course, advising and setting requirements on other projects.

Main game skills:

Deep knowledge of Linux
Experience with designing and maintaining large deployments of ELK/Elastic Stack
Experience with system monitoring, preferably using OP5

We also believe that you are familiar with:

Scripting in at least 1 of the following languages: Bash/Python/Golang
Automation of deployments. We use GIT, Puppet, Pulp and Foreman
Message queues and Big Data software projects
