Back-end developer

As a backend developer you contribute to develop the company's products that handle a large amount of data. Thanks to your experience you can see solutions to create a cleaner architecture with more efficient solutions to face the new technologies demands for flexibility and speed. OP5 works in a Linux based environment and you will mainly use C, C++ and Python in your work. Since they work with Open Source you will also come across multiple other frameworks and programming languages. You are a part of a team that consists of eight developers that work with frontend or backend and you work agile according to Scrum.

Requirements:

• A few years of experience of working backend with C, C++ and Python
• Preferably you have a relevant education in IT/programming
• It is meritorious with previous experience of working agile and according to Scrum as well as competence within database and MySQL
• You are fluent in English, both verbal and written

You are a person that likes to create structure and efficient solutions. You can think a step ahead in your programming and likes to look at problems from a larger perspective. This means that you create long-term solutions and have a high quality in your algorithms. Furthermore, you like to take on tasks and think outside the box to find solutions. You are comfortable working alone as well as in teams.
