We are now looking for several Senior UX Designers. This position is located in Bromma, Stockholm.

What you will do

You’ll work with developing products and services for a wide variety of clients, creating everything from rapid concept designs to delivering digital products ready for implementation. 

You will work with multidisciplinary teams including Design Strategists, Visual Designers, Developers, and Researchers to ensure that all aspects of a user’s experience are managed. You will get the opportunity to work with international client teams in a fast-paced environment, sometimes in joint project teams together with McKinsey colleagues.

In project teams, you’ll be the lead UX designer, directing junior designers, managing multiple work streams and client expectations. You’ll be responsible for setting the design strategy and direction, ensuring alignment with overall project scope. You’ll play a leading role, collaborating with others, in all stages of the design process, from planning and coordinating, participating in research and analyzing user requirements, to creating design concepts and developing prototypes.

You’ll conceptualize, develop, and track user experiences from early concepts to prototypes and specifications. You will produce, evaluate and ensure design stories and wireframes are done with precision and provide great value to our clients.

You'll effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually while working with teams to help bring products to market.

As a Senior UX designer, you will contribute to developing Veryday’s and our client’s thought leadership (e.g. through public speaking, writing).

Qualifications

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in interaction design, graphic design, human computer interaction or the equivalent.
- 7+ years of professional experience in design consultancy or in-house designer role
- Experience leading the design process and solving complex design challenges while inspiring and motivating team members to do their best.
- Can clearly communicate design decisions and rationale to all stakeholders, bringing in user perspective.
- Masters core user-centered design approaches, processes, tools and methodologies (including research and prototyping)
- Experience across mobile and web; experience with convergent design and Internet of Things is a plus
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication, presentation and storytelling skills; additional languages spoken considered a plus.
- Master tools used for digital product design and prototyping (e.g. Sketch and Invision)
- Responsible, punctual, and adept at managing tight deadlines.
