BAS ITG is looking for a talented UX/UI designer who has skills in web, mobile app design in all platforms, wireframs, interactive/non-linear design, ergonomic design, accessibility & utility. Excellent knowledge with HTML5 design prototypes, Photoshop, Illustrator, Wordpress/CMS, CSS and iBeacon Design Technology. Understands how design can be impacted by technological restraints and knows to design for those constraints, as well as able to tailor design for mobile, tablet and web. Degree in Graphic Design - Experience working in South Africa, Switzerland & United States. Fluent in spoken written English & Afrikaans.
Bachelor's degree is required (ideally in Graphic Design, Interactive Media A strong and varied portfolio of work showcasing strong visually appealing esthetic design, approach and development for digital platforms A strong understanding of branding, brand strategy and marketing considerations, with a thorough understanding of interactive communications, delivery processes, interface design, HCI and industry best practices An excellent understanding of designing for technology required to build digital interactive solutions and experiences A detailed understanding of the principles, techniques and considerations associated with designing for accessibility and SEO Experience with design for mobile, widgets, dash boards, UI, applications and desktop Experience with designing for highly-interactive experiences (e.g. CSS, Java, HTML 5, 3D, Flash, Flex and/or Silverlight) a plus
