Architect for engine management system

Are you a senior developer of embedded software? Do you like to solve problems where the solution is far from obvious? Do you have a talent for finding structures in a complex context? We are looking for someone to map out the way forward for a new generation of engine management systems for Scania, MAN and Navistar.
The Engine System Software group is responsible for the complete engine management system including SW architecture. We have a lean/agile business strategy and use Scrum in our three teams.
Our group is characterised by excellent team spirit and enthusiasm for both personal and professional development.

Your duties
Responsibility for defining technical concepts for architecture within engine management systems for heavy vehicles throughout the group.
An important part of the work is to develop methods and tools.
This is a strategically important position in a creative and dynamic work environment with a high technical level.
 
Your profile

We expect that you will be a graduate engineer specialising in computers, electronics, mechatronics or similar.
You will possess solid knowledge of C and good knowledge of Python, XML or equivalents.
You will be proficient in written and spoken English and have the desire to learn Swedish, if you cannot already speak it.
You have a well-developed analytical and strategic thinking and a good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing.
