DevOps Engineeer
We now need to strengthen our operations team with another talented and passionate DevOps Engineer for continued development of Glorious Games’ existing infrastructure platform and building new infrastructure for new projects. The work will be performed in small, dynamic and multi-disciplinary teams, hence the work involves a degree of autonomy and great ability to plan your own time. A big appetite for keeping up to date on new technologies and best practices is essential.

Responsibilities

- Research and development of new tools and hardware into existing infrastructure
- Build infrastructure for new products with a focus on high availability, scalability and performance using rapid deployment
- Continued development of existing infrastructure and tools
- Maintenance and development of network-infrastructure
- Maintaining a high level of security in infrastructure
- Triage situations by assessing problems, identify source and apply fixes
- Support co-workers with technical expertise
- Work closely with other functions in the company (Development, QA)

Qualifications

- At least three years of work experience in Operations/Development
- Excellent knowledge of Linux (Preferably Debian)
- Excellent knowledge in scripting-languages (Perl, Bash)
- Experience with relational databases, memcached, high traffic sites
- Experience with Nginx, MySQL & Haproxy
- Experience with Network operations
- Experience with load-balancing platforms
- Knowledge of Network protocols
- Strong knowledge of the common server exploits and their solutions
- Some experience with Windows server environment is valued
- Some experience with PHP (5.4+) is valued
- Some experience with in-house technical support
- Some experience with mobile development is valued
- Good communications skills with people with varying degrees of technical expertise
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Perforce, Subversion
