C/C++ Developer

You will be joining our Video team working with encoding and transport of live video over unreliable public IP connections. Our product runs as an embedded Linux environment as well as in a virtual environment and is written in C/C++ with real-time requirements on video transport.

Together we develop features from beginning to end which means that we work with refining requirements, system design, implementation, securing quality with automated tests and finally customer deployment. We also focus a lot on teamwork, broadening our knowledge and taking steps to continuously improve our way of working. We believe it should be fun to work!

To be successful in the role, we think that you have:
• C/C++ and object-oriented systems experience
• Good knowledge of Linux systems development, working with Linux as target environment
• Can get to speed with new codebases quickly

We also believe that you appreciate:
• Agile processes and teamwork
• Being part of all development steps combined with having both influence and responsibility for delivering a great product

It is beneficial if you have experience of any of the following:
• Continuous integration and test-driven development
• Video and audio processing, encoding, decoding and transmission
• Networking
• Virtualization techniques in Linux environments and cloud platforms

The position is a permanent employment, full time and based at Net Insight’s headquarters in Stockholm.
