Tetra Pak Global IM supports the Tetra Pak Group with all aspects of Information Management. We set the Information Management Strategy and Standards and work together with Tetra Pak's Global Process Owners to automate our business processes making sure we run projects & services that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its customers. Global IM has employees in three main sites: Lund/Malmö in Sweden, Denton in the USA and in Singapore.

This temporary position, lasting for one year, is for a developer in a team of approximately 25 people working with P2, Tetra Pak's manufacturing system. P2 is a business critical application, supporting production in 38 Tetra Pak factories around the world, and is used by a community of over 5000 users. P2 is an in-house developed administrative system for capturing detailed information about production of packaging and additional material. The system is highly automated and supports the core of Tetra Pak's business.

Main responsibilities
- Analyse, design and maintain new and existing functionality in the P2 application
- Develop and test the P2 application for the identified future needs
- Be part of development projects and defect correction

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with strong analytical and communication skills combined with a service oriented working approach. As a person you are a team player who also enjoys working independently. You are self-motivated with a strong interest in technical issues. Furthermore you are keen to seek knowledge and to learn new things.

We believe you have a Bachelor degree in Informatics. You have a good IT software knowledge and genuine interest in IT solutions. Furthermore is knowledge / experience with Java, EJB 2, JMS Messaging, and Eclipse expected and knowledge / experience of WebLogic Server is a bonus. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
