Security in Internet of Things, Virtual reality, app development and global legal challenges are all parts of our scope. Given the new GDPR-regulations, we will need an extra resource to support our business in the implementation and compliance strategies.

About the job

As Information Security Coordinator, you work closely with the different areas of the IKEA business and support them in both changes in IT-solutions and changes in ways of working according to the Data Privacy regulations. You will perform assessments on solutions and projects, create action plans and implementing planned actions. You will also work closely with the legal unit, securing compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations. You are a trusted speaking partner to various stakeholders within the IKEA Range & Supply. In this role, you will be reporting to the Information Security & Data Privacy Manager.

This position is placed in Älmhult, Sweden with “sister” offices in Malmö and Helsingborg. Some international travelling might occur, considering it is a global role.

This is a temporary position of 9 months.

About the assignment

As an Information Security Coordinator, your main responsibilities are:

• Work in close partnership with our global Information Security/Data Privacy matrix to support, develop and implement activities according to the strategic, tactical and operational framework. 
• Work closely with our global organizations within Inter IKEA Group and Range & Supply to support and monitor that Information Security and Data Privacy regulations and requirements are followed as intended by stakeholders.
• Co-ordinate the business needs to identify risks and implement the Information Security and Data Privacy improvements in the organization and the business solutions.
• Support to ensure compliance with Inter IKEA Group Policy’s, Standards and Rules as well as global, national and local legal demands regarding Information Security and Data Privacy.
• Support and co-ordinate the implementation of the Information Security and Data Privacy in the solution development (Privacy by Design, Secure Software Development etc.).
• Secure a consistent basis via regular series of follow-ups, and training sessions by being a strong facilitator.
• Facilitate risk discussions and ensure that risk decisions are taken at the right level in the organisation.
