Simulator Software Developer

Every morning the team has a standup meeting where GitHub issues are discussed and picked by the team. Together with your future colleagues in the Navigraph Development Team you will be responsible for developing our charts client software for Windows and Mac. Your main focus will be on the client user interface and functionality (C++/Qt) and the simulator connection, but you should be no stranger to maintaining and extending the API (C#) which runs on Amazon AWS EC2 instances.

We believe that you have:

A M. Sc. in Computer Science, or equivalent area, alternatively a few years of working experience as a software engineer.

- Good knowledge of C#.
- Good knowledge of C++.
- Good knowledge of Qt.
- Good knowledge of at least one of the major off the shelf flight simulator SDKs: Microsoft Flight Simulator SimConnect SDK, Lockheed Martin Prepar3D SDK and/or X-Plane SDK.
- Good knowledge of SQL and principles of relational databases.
- Good knowledge of the concepts of a RESTful API architecture.
- Experience of Git.
- Experience of Amazon AWS services.

Furthermore, we hope that you:

- Are available to work on site, in the Stockholm offices.
- Are fluent in English, as this is the office language.
- Have an interest in flight simulation and/or aviation.
- Have previously worked with simulator sceneries in the BGL file format.
- Have previously worked with Inno Setup scripting.
