We are hiring a full-time Software Configuration Manager at our headquarters in Umeå, Sweden.

The Configuration Manager (CM) is responsible for the configuration management activities for our software and content releases. This includes planning and working closely with software and content developers to implement best CM practices and ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, content and related processes produce the best possible user experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for defining and implementing activities related to the CM of product development. This may include scheduling, executing, and documenting software and content build processes. Includes packaging builds for release, ensuring appropriate project documentation is available for each new build or release, and supporting a continuous integration environment.
• Sets up and maintain system and application environments; Implement custom solutions for software repository and application lifecycle management tools.
• Identify CM issues in assigned projects during the lifecycle of the project. Plan and execute the resolution of those issues.
• Gather CM requirements and develop a CM plan for assigned projects. Generally, these projects are large in scope or complexity. Coordinate the review, approval and communication updates of CM deliverables.
• Maintain a repository of configuration items for projects and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
• Report to project management on the progress of the CM effort including the status of project software and content builds, deployments and environments.
• Provide effort for ongoing support and maintenance of existing tools and applications.
• Research new software development and CM methodologies and technologies and analyzes their application to current and future CM needs.

Skills Required:
• Automated Install tools (InstallShield and Windows/OSX Installer)
• Build automation scripts using PowerShell and Bash
• Virtual Instruments (Samplers and Romplers)
• MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) protocol
• Experience working with version control systems (Subversion).
• XML File Configurations
• Visual Basic

Skills Preferred:
• Good knowledge of Toontrack products
• Perl and JavaScript
• C++

Good knowledge in the English language is required since we often communicate with non-Swedish speaking team members.
