Academic Work is on behalf of our client BiDirection looking for a junior back-end developer.

BiDirection are now making big investments in developing the company and want to expand to be much bigger and widen their core business. Therefore it is an exciting time to join their journey that has been going on since 2007 when the company was founded.

This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work and the request from BiDirection is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work.

Academic Work is responsible for the recruitment process but the candidate that proceed will be employed directly by BiDirection.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a back-end developer you will work with their media management system as they offer to their clients. You will also focus on web streaming services and integrated media solutions. They describe themselves as a consulting company where you can be assigned for a specific project and work at some of their clients. However, the last two years, they have also focused on product development which means that you can work on projects inhouse, still for their clients.

Some of their clients are: SVT, TV4, SKY, BBC, FCB, Fox News, MBC, the NISV etc. they have a close collaboration with Vizrt that is a worldwide market leader in the areas of real-time 3D graphics, studio automation, sports analysis and asset management tools for the media and entertainment industry.

We are looking for you who...

* Have a strong interest and passion for programming
* Can show some kind of practical experience of programming, at least 3 hobby projects or work life experience.
* Have a University degree in Computer Science or similar
* Is familiar with the Unix terminal
* Is fluent in at least one programming language
* Have Swedish recidence and work permit

It will be considered an additional qualification if you…

* Have experience of Python, Java or C++
* Have experience of JavaScript and HTML
* Have experience of SQL databases
