We are looking for a skilled SW Tools Developer to join the department that is responsible for providing a SW development, configuration and distribution environment for the client's development sites globally, serving the users (development sites) with state-of-the-art tools for the entire SW life cycle.
The team base their solutions & tools on the latest Open Source as well as commercial solutions, with development and daily operations managed by global teams of engineers using agile ways of working.

The client is looking for an engineer to join the Platform Build and SDK Team in Lund, Sweden. This team is providing solutions as required by the SW organization to build platform SW such as the Android platform, as well as making sure that the latest SDK artifacts are available for the users, globally. Typical daily tasks relate to the entire handling of these solutions, i.e. requirements analysis, design, implementation, maintenance and support, of which some are done in the context of Open Source communities together with other companies like Google.

We expect you to have a university degree in Computer Science or similar, good communication skills, be curious and innovative, have a passion for SW development, and enjoy working individually as well as in teams. You should have 2-4 years of hands on experience in the following areas:
*) Linux and shell programming
*) C/C++ programming
*) Make / CMake, or similar SW Build systems
*) Python, or similar script programming

Experience in the following areas is considered as an advantage:
*) Git and Gerrit, or similar SCM systems
*) Open Source project participation
*) Java programming

Start: asap / spring 2015.
Duration: 12-24 months on site in Sweden, with a high probability for extension.
Extent: Full-time, 40h/week. Paid overtime can be requested by the customer.
Location: Lund.
Working language: English/Swedish.
Compensation: Negotiable.
