Tasks or Responsibilities:
Participate in Business Requirements and contribute materially to the development
of functional design. Development of source code, including descriptions, for all
Software Components in accordance with the Detailed Software Requirements
Specification, the functional design and technical design documents. Work closely
with other solution architect and functional analyst within the team to understand
the requirements and design a solution that complies with the requirements
Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements
and enhancements Create High Level Design and detailed design documents with
support of architects for the assigned scope items Provide all types of development
effort Support QA/UAT team by reviewing test cases and timely resolution
of defects. Develop comprehensive unit test cases and unit test plan Conduct
comprehensive unit testing and assist in building an automated unit and regression
test suite Conduct demos (POC) and seek early feedback
Qualifications
1-2 years Technical Lead experience required 5 years commercial development
experience, 3 years in Big Data development Software Lifecycle/Programming
experience. Very good hands on experience in Java / Scala and Python. Experience
in handling normalized / de-normalized data, realtime applications and batch
processing in Hadoop. Must have previous hands on development experience
in HADOOP eco-systems components , No-Sql data bases and cloud (Azure /
Aws) is a plus. Previous experience of working in Agile methodology Strong
problem-solving and analytical skills. Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented,
and a responsible team-player Willingness to roll up their sleeves and do what is
necessary to drive projects to completion Commitment to produce high quality
work in a timely manner Ability to identify and interpret stakeholders needs and
requirements Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix organizations Ability to
commit and prioritize work duties and tasks Work to tight deadlines and provide
regular progress updates against agreed milestones Excellent communication skills
