Test responsible with developer skills

IT within Scania is currently undergoing an exciting change toward Agile methods and high-performance development teams. Within Scania´s service market we are currently building a new generation of software based solutions for workshops using state-of-the art technology.
One of our main deliveries is a software solution used for rebuild of the vehicle at the workshops. This solution is used by approximately 15 000 mechanics around the world and requires high performance and high maintainability.
Focus areas ahead is to further develop the solution with modern cloud-based web technology and to improve automation of test and deploy .

Your role
As our test responsible you will join the Product Adaptions group within Product Development IT and the team that develop the application Conversion. Conversion supports the Rebuild process and Software campaigns within R&D and aftermarket.
The team is working with the entire lifecycle of the application: development/test, implementations, maintenance and support. The team has tight and good cooperation with the product owner and has come very far in an agile way of working.
You will adopt an agile approach to work, with technical variation and customer/business contact at a company with a good working environment.
 
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, analytical, has a background from software development, high social competence and is passionate about testing in our development team.
 
As a person you have a proactive approach and you enjoy taking on new challenges and working with a focus on quality and targets. You are also structured and flexible. You like working in a team, but it is also important that you can take the initiative and work independently.
 
In this role you need to have a good understanding of the IT system development lifecycle and be used to work in an agile way with good knowledge in test discipline including automation and performance testing.
 
You should have an degree in IT or equivalent experience, complemented with a minimum of 3-5 year’s testing experience. You must be positive to participate in improving testing, test methods and tools. You also have a keen interest in new technologies.
 
It is meritorious if you have experience from . Net development (JavaScript, C#, .NET Core and SQL) and Angular.  An extra plus if you have been working with cloud services such as Amazon Web Services.
 
In addition to Swedish, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
 
You find it easy to communicate with close colleagues as well as with the organization at large. You are highly skilled in your area of expertise, have great ambition and the courage to take on large and complex tasks.
