In Product Development Unit (PDU) 4G5G we have several departments in Linköping responsible for 5G development. We are working with software development in areas like systemization, design and test. Job description

At PDU 4G5G RAN Product Integration and Release (PIR), our responsibility is to ensure that the quality and functionality of both LTE and 5G RAN to fulfill our customer expectations. Today we work in an international environment with colleagues in Europe, Asia, and North America. We are looking for an experienced software developer to our teams with a strong interest in both verification, continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD). At PDU 4G5G PIR we work with the product end-to-end enabling a very broad view of the complete system in a customer like environment.

The role requires individuals who demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, possesses strong team working and communication skills, and are highly motivated in learning the 4G/5G wireless protocols. You need to manage a changing product scope, normal project work as well as continuous evaluation and improvement of our processes and ways of working. We expect you to always act with flexibility and find solutions better than yesterday.

PDU 4G5G is leading the transition towards Lean and Agile and we work with continuous improvements and Scrum/Kanban in our daily operation. Automation is a central part of our daily work. Short feedback loops are important in our development process, which is based on Continuous Integration practices.

Key Qualifications & Experience Requirements

MSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
Good communication skills
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Programming in Java, C/C++ or equivalent
Automated SW testing
Working with people and networking
Innovating, adapting and responding to change

Preferred qualifications & experience requirements

Knowledge in Cloud
Lean & Agile Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of LTE or other wireless protocols
