SG Digital recruits Senior C++ Developer

The last couple of years SG Digital has had a vast expansion and 2018 is no exception! We are now recruiting a C++ Developer that would like to join the development team. You will be part of a jointly-established and experienced company with high technical skills.

As their new Senior C++ Developer you will be based at their office in central Stockholm, where 120 employees are currently working. SG Digital is well-known for its high technical level and innovation regarding development, where they constantly develop new applications and functionality for their software.

Your Role

As a Senior C ++ developer, you will be offered a key role in SG Digital's development team where you participate in design, development and maintenance of components as well as new functionality. In your role, you define web-based APIs, and participate in the design of system architecture. As a developer, you also ensure that the components are verified, solve incidents, and lead technical aspects of development projects and feasibility projects. The platform is built in C ++, with a highly transactional-intensive gaming and account system. In this, game data, betting, payments and game-specific business rules are used by game operators at a global level. Designing and implementing platform functionality, improving code quality, as well as identifying tools and enhancing the development process are also common tasks. Your team is focused on/uses test-driven development where continuous integration is a big part of your work.

The role includes reviewing requirements, reviewing coding, participating in designing design documents. You also communicate with parties regarding third party integration. As a Senior Developer in C ++ it is an advantage if you are familiar with designing similar systems, either from the gaming world, the financial sector or similar.

Who you are

We are looking for a graduate / university degree within a relevant field, such as computer science or equivalent and at least five years of experience as a developer, primarily within C ++ and a solid experience of backend development. You have a very good understanding of how transaction-intensive systems is built, how they work and have experience within SQL, system installation and configuration.

Furthermore, you have experience from a Windows Environment and a deep understanding of XML, JSON, HTTP and Web-based API. It is desirable if you have knowledge in written languages ??such as PHP, Bash and Python. Together with your colleagues, you will work according to Scrum.

Personality wise you are service-oriented, accurate and structured. You are described as professional and like to help both clients as well as colleagues, which makes you fit into SG Digital's corporate culture. You have a high technical understanding and prefer to work in a dynamic organization with advanced technology.

You are fluent in English both verbally and in writing.
