Cloud Developer

• Design and develop highly available and scalable SaaS platform features supporting our Dabacon products in accordance with project requirements and overall system architecture following AVEVA’s business and technology strategy
• Contribute towards innovative design against challenging user and performance requirements
• Maintain and grow your knowledge in an environment of rapidly changing technology
• Ensure design proposals are reviewed and approved by appropriate review authorities at each stage of the implementation and its evolution
• Promote SaaS technologies and practices throughout AVEVA
• Demonstrate and promote secure practices
• Provide prototypes where appropriate to explore and verify design proposals
• Implement approved designs and ensure adherence to product quality and acceptance criteria
• Manage DevOps aspects throughout the development life-cycle
• Collaborate with team members on work breakdown and estimates within the agile framework
• Identify and communicate technical issues and risks in a timely manner
• Undertake the administration and resolution of support and maintenance issues
• Report progress to the Development Manager/Scrum Master

You are a developer with cloud skills, preferably AWS. You are a strong coder with a reputation for delivering quality results quickly. We currently make use of serverless Node.js, Angular and C# but you also have experience developing in multiple languages in a Windows environment and a strong desire to own and solve challenges.
