Full-stack Developer / Tech Lead for Fast-growing Fintech Company

Our customer is a fast-growing fintech company that offers a range of services within consumer finance. Their vision is to help all consumers to improve their personal finance and to deliver outstanding value for their consumers and partners by offering a first-class consumer-friendly experience, both online and offline.

Our customer have been around for more than 17 years and have offices in Sweden, Finland and Norway, but their ambition is never-ending. They have a strong focus on expansion – through M&A, new market launches and new product verticals.

They are looking for an experienced Tech Lead / Full stack developer who want to join their business expansion team in Stockholm.

What they offer
In your role as Tech Lead at our customer, you will lead one of their tech team as today consists of 3-4 developers. You will be responsible for the technical direction and your role will be to constantly challenge and develop their ways of working to ensure continuous improvement. Meanwhile, a great part of your daily work will be to hands on coding in front- or backend environment, depending on your own strengths and preferences.

You will be the link in between their project managers and developers, and take lead of translating business case into technical solutions. You will work mainly with Javascript, Vue.js, or/and Node.JS, but as they love to explore new technologies and always want to challenge themselves to improve their ways of working. This means that your ideas, suggestions and inputs will be highly appreciated. Their tech team work close to the business and are highly involved in the product development.

Who you are
In this role, we think that you have both fullstack experience and leadership skills. Maybe you've had a similar role or have had the chance to use your leadership skills in other situations or positions. For the customer, your personality and passion is more important than your technical experience.

We see it as important that you want to grow as a professional and have a humble attitude towards learning from your team members. The customer value your eager to deliver high quality results together with your team. As a leader, we think that you are solution oriented and have great communication skills.

If you have experience with Node Js, Javascript (ES6), Vue.JS, AWS and SQL, that will be beneficial in your role here, but if you have other valuable experience and are willing to learn, they value that as well. A couple of years experience within full stack development is preferable.
