Founded in 1963 in Helsingborg, JC started out as one of the very first retail chains within young and trendy fashion. JC have approximately 300 employees and about 50 stores located in Sweden and Finland.

Even though Jeans is the core value of JC Jeans Company our product range also consists of other clothing that fit the denim profile. The Role
The job involves close collaboration with Purchasing Manager to ensure a commercial and successful Crocker range. You need to be able to guide and coach Production in Asia to ensure commercial products to our target group. You are part of product promotion by constantly working with trends and world-wide analysis. You are responsible for developing color charts, design sketches, artworks and Techpacks for Production.
About you
We are looking for someone who is commercially driven and motivated by the challenge to create the best range and customer offer to JC customers around Sweden and Finland. We believe you have a constant will to improve and develop the range in both Womenswear and Menswear. You need to be a self-starter, take own initiatives, prioritize and secure deadlines. To succeed in the role you need to be a very good communicator and have the ability to clearly convey visual ideas and goals. You need to enjoy a fast pace environment, be positive and a teamplayer. A passion for fashion is of course essential to be happy in the role.
The role include 5 weeks in China, divided on 4 trips. This is mandatory.
Requirements
* You have experience in coordinating a collection and can master the relationship between product, material and print. Interested in fashion for both Womenswear and Menswear, but with documented experience from Womenswear.
* Have a college degree in fashion design or an equivalent education.
* Have a good knowledge of materials, printing techniques and can do print Artworks.
* Has an understanding or basic knowledge of pattern cutting.
* Very good knowledge of Illustrator, and / or Indesign is a requirement. You are responsible for all sketches, overviews, print artworks, trims, tech packs etc.
* At least 2 years in a similar role, or a junior role where you are now ready to take the next step.
* Fluent English in spoken and written terms.
