Job description

Do you want to be a part of our team at Atlas Copco Industrial Technique and develop solutions towards Industry 4.0?

You will be part of our team currently consisting of 10 people, including two Data Scientist, Software designers, Project Management and System Verification.

We are working on a completely new cloud based software system.

The system gathers data from our customers manufacturing plants and will help our customers by giving proactive recommendations to increase production uptime and product quality. Furthermore, we will design algorithms to predict breakdowns and optimize the tool maintenance schedule.

Mission

In this position, you will be using complex analysis, statistical approaches, machine learning or similar methodology. You will develop theoretical models, verify them and cooperate with our software team with the product implementation and final verification.

Experience:

• Data mining, large-scale data analysis and machine learning/artificial intelligence.

• Mathematics, statistics, physics and programming experience.
• Interest and focus towards industry or other real world scenarios (finance, e-commerce).

Education: You have an Academic degree within Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant area.

Personality:

You are a team player and contribute to targets and goals with commitments as well as stand firm in the implementation. You enjoy working pro-actively and communicate with many internal and external contacts. You are confident in communication around technology and your expertise to your coworkers.
