Junior digital media designer

Frank Valiant is a creative agency located in Skåne with passionate artists who take pride in delivering high performance solutions and enjoy pushing technology to new limits. We help our customers create and package announcements and business messages, make them fast and easy to understand. As we expand our portfolio, we’re looking for a talented Junior digital media designer to help the creative team and work closely with our clients and customers. In collaboration with the creative team, you will design and create amazing visual content for our current and upcoming projects. You’ll have a passion for design, problem solving, and you won’t take no for an answer when it comes to making the projects better.

Responsibilities:
- Design and create captivating and visual effects using Adobe Suite, Maya and similar programs.
- Experience in utilising and adapting real time shaders such as (Unreal,Unity) and post rendering such as (Vray, Redshift, Arnold).
- Good knowledge in, lighting and dynamics and scene setups.
- Develop concept and production designs, working side-by-side with the rest of the Technical and Creative team.
- Work closely with Producers and Product Owners to ensure that projects meet the Frank Valiant standard of excellence, satisfy marketing goals, and meet publishing schedules.
- Collaborate and communicate with the Senior VFX Artist, Chief Creative Officer and Producer(s) for the creation of concepts, presentation materials, project style-guides, and final refinements of projects through the production cycle.
- Good knowledge in building VFX libraries, as well as establishing and maintaining a VFX asset pipeline.
- Design and maintain clear naming conventions and organization for files, folder systems and other hand-off vehicles, and archiving assets and source files.
- Predict and manage performance issues, and optimizing assets for file size and performance considerations.

Required:
- Education in the Visual effect field
- Experience creating visual effects using the Adobe Creative Suite and Maya .
- Creating textures and geometry from scratch for stylized imagery.
- Solid graphic design awareness
- Enjoy communicating and presenting your work, taking direction and feedback from stakeholders, staying organized, and adapting your time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in utilising and adapting real time shaders such as (Unreal,Unity) and post rendering such as (Vray, Redshift, Arnold).
- Good abilities to create branding, commercials, presentations, web designs, prints by using different tools to present clients stories
- Proactive in finding creative and effective solutions to day-to-day problems and resolving conflicts
- Good team player who shares expertise, and delights in learning new tricks of the trade
- Fluent English is a must

Preferred:
- Graphic design background
- Basic knowledge of simulation programs
- Good knowledge in craft art such as printing
- Adaptive skills to different pipelines and workflow
- Proactive in learning and developing your skills
