Arm has launched a new business unit, Wireless Connectivity BU, to develop wireless Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) radio IP solutions for use in IoT applications. An exciting opportunity for a Senior Hardware Verification Engineer to join the team in Arm’s newly formed LPWAN group within wireless business unit
What will you be accountable for?
As a Hardware Verification Engineer within the LPWAN group you will work in the dedicated and highly motivated Hardware Verification Team closely together with the HW Designers.
•You will cover top-level verification and testbench implementation, hardware emulation, customer testbench implementation, regression framework and coverage closure. We take pride in delivering high quality and thoroughly verified products, but are looking into areas where our verification can be improved further, for instance to find bugs quicker.
•You will contribute to the verification methodology and will drive it forward together with the verification team lead.
•You will prepare and participate in verification planning, verification and verification reviews for HW blocks
•You will develop and implement test cases for blocks as well as subsystems.
Required Skills and Experiences
You will have experience from digital hardware verification and a Master's degree in electronic engineering or computer science is expected, although other science graduates will be considered if they have relevant experience.
•Proven ability to verify IP designs for ASIC or FPGA targets
•Experience of SystemVerilog or UVM for verification
•Experience of hardware description languages VHDL, Verilog or SystemC
•Cooperation and leadership skills and a sincere interest in seeing another people develop and succeed
•Ability to express ideas and communicate effectively
•Ability to work independently as well as in teams
•Willingness to learn, be flexible and accept new challenges
•Excellent written and spoken English language skills
•Team player, mentorship and working together as a team to ensure success
•Enthusiasm and capability are as important as extensive experience
•Telecom fundamentals and knowledge of telecom standards such as 3GPP
•Scripting languages, such as python, perl, tcl and shell
•C, C++ or SystemC
•Verification of High Level-Synthesis HW blocks

The Arm Lund office is comprised of hardware and software developers working with Media Processing and with LPWAN (Low-Power Wide-Area Network) technology. Media Processing team develops tomorrow’s embedded Mali™ Video and Graphics technology and products while the WBU/LPWAN team develops tomorrow's family of Arm standards-based low-power wireless IP´s named Cordio®-N. The office is located in the vibrant Öresund region in the south of Sweden offering plenty of nature, city life, or natural experiences, alongside with Lund University and a range of tech companies.
