Art Director/Designer

Ellmount is looking for an Art Director/Designer to join the Marketing team at our Casino Room brand. We are seeking a candidate who is one part Graphic Designer and one part Art Director- someone who can translate our creative concepts and brand voice into cutting-edge, visually-stunning digital content. The ideal person has extensive experience in creating eye-catching UI/UX mobile-first, responsive web design that meets the needs of our in-house marketing and development teams. In addition to web design, experience in creating banner ads and social media content is essential for success in this role.

Our Art Director/Designer must be capable of managing the entire design process with the support and assistance of our marketing team. This position involves delegating and managing contractors, ensuring deadlines are met and long-term strategic thinking for brand building. Efficiency, organization, attention to detail and excellent communication are crucial. Interest or experience in the gaming industry is not required but a big bonus!

The role and responsibilities

- Designing and creating digital assets that coherently represent the Casino Room brand identity and help in achieving business and creative objectives

- Ensuring a consistent brand design across all forms of media and communications

- Working with development/tech teams to create and implement cutting edge UX/UI responsive, mobile-first website design (coding capabilities not required)

- Working with our marketing team to create cohesive assets that promote our brand voice in innovative ways

- Helping position Casino Room as a forward-thinking innovator through graphic design

- Staying abreast of new multimedia, production, electronic and general creative technologies

- Managing design contractors, carrying out and delegating projects and ensuring consistency across all content

Experience requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, multimedia or visual art preferred

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, digital art and layout

- UX/UI design skills

- Solid knowledge of responsive design

- Proven track record of cross-platform design experience (web, tablet, mobile)

- Experience in creating graphics for different social media platforms

- A portfolio demonstrating exceptional and highly creative graphic design abilities

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.

- Ability to manage contractors and accomplish jobs quickly

- Extraordinary attention to detail and the ability to produce error-free work

- Ability to organize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and turn projects around quickly to meet tight deadlines

- Ability to anticipate and stay abreast of graphic design trends
