ÅF are collaborating with one of our biggest customers, Scania, to find the next generation IT talents. If you are a newly graduated engineer who wants a future within IT you will get the opportunity to start your professional career with a programme aimed towards giving you training and support during a period of six months. The program is targeting to leave you with an employment at the customer after a period of six months. 
This program has been running successfully every year since 2015 and is an initiative that is aiming to employ graduates who have an interest and aspiration to work within IT. Technically, you will be working with exciting systems like Amazon and cloud solutions. The program gives you the opportunity to get a big network and learn more about Scania, alongside other IT talents. At the same time you will get the chance to broaden your technical spectrum. This program consist of education days in Scania business as well as technics and tools such as JAVA, .Net, C#, Test Automation and much more. You will receive support and coaching by experienced professionals at both ÅF and Scania.  
Joining this program will not only give you a great start in a big company, you will also have the chance or opportunity to work abroad. Scania has projects all over the world in countries such as Brazil, India and Germany.

Who are you?
You are an IT graduate with potential and desire to become an T-shaped IT Professionals at a multinational company. This means having the ability to gain knowledge in an overall perspective as well as go deeper in to certain areas. You should hold a relevant Bachelor or Master degree.  
For the program, ÅF together with the IT-department Product Development, are looking for IT talents who see their future within one of the following areas of expertise: 

Java development
.Net development
C++ development
Testing and test automation

 
Written and spoken English is required, skills in Swedish is a merit.We want a real team player who are motivated, committed and innovative.If you are passionate for one or more of the areas above, we are interested in getting to know you!        
The program will start in the beginning of September 2018 and you will be working in at Scania in Södertälje.
