Software Engineer

My name is Erik Björk and I am together with my management team leading the IT department Digital Channels for Telia Company Sweden. Our unit is in the centre of Telia’s digitalization journey and therefore cruicial to Telia's strive for becoming the New Generation Telco! I am now looking for full-stack developers with main focus on front-end to start-up a new development team in Solna.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE?
The Digital Channels unit is in the centre of Telia's transformation journey and is both a customer and technology driven unit , where highly performing Scrum teams with T-shaped professionals are seen as the main change enabler.

As a member of Digital Channels, you will develop high-end technical solutions to support e-commerce, external web channels, mobile apps and other, not yet invented, digital services for Telia Sweden. You will explore and develop solutions, based on end-customer needs, together with a self-organizing team, delivering well-designed, testable and efficient code with a focus on delivering value to the customer fast and often. Build simple and elegant web interfaces in line with Telia Company guidelines.

At Digital Channels, we are committed to using the best tools and approaches from the industry, which is currently reflected by a move to a fresh new platform based on Spring Boot powered microservices running in a Kubernetes cluster. On the frontend we are moving toward standardizing on Vue.js, relying on the current Javascript standards and cssnext and serving all that through the powerful Magnolia CMS using light modules. The goal is for teams to be able to work and deploy independently and easily, using Pact for consumer driven contracts and automated testing in general, via Cucumber, to make sure things work together.

- Hands on experience with web application architecture
- Practical experience with mentioned technology stack above or similar
- Experience from CI&CD
- Passion for new technologies, trends, patterns and frameworks
- Have good communications skills and fluent English
