Work with us and take role as senior developer on the first version of our firmware for our genesis platform (a ball that is connected to a mmorparg). If you are a fit and can get things done, you will have the opportunities to take a lead role in the dev team as we grow.

In this role, you’ll build embedded software for mobile facing consumer electronics products. You’ll work in a system with Mobile apps, smart embedded devices, backend services, big data, and consumer electronics, contributing to the evolution of the Internet of Things.

Job Responsibilities includes multiple of the following:
Software Development using Bluetooth and BLE.
Software Development using IP based internet protocols including some of the following: Bonjour (mDNS/DNS-SD), SSDP, OCF, UDP, TCP, TLS, CoAP, HTTP, MQTT, Thread, WiFi, Websockets.
Development with C Programming language.
Development with Java Programming language.
Testing and debugging embedded electronics using standard electronic test equipment.
Rapid prototyping using available tools such as: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Beagle Bone, etc.

Job Requirements:
Direct experience in programming in C for real-time embedded systems.
Experience and continued interest in learning and deploying unfamiliar languages, frameworks, and other tools.
Python or Shell Scripting language familiarity.

Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
Eager to learn and adapt to new and changing requirements.
Experience working with 32-bit microcontrollers in a flash and RAM constrained system.
Knowledge of microcontroller peripherals and interfaces: UART, SPI, ADC, PWM, Timers, etc.
Experience in the use of test and debug equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, etc.
Good communication and team skills.
Solid debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving ability.
Bachelor's degree in ECE, EE, CS or related field, or comparable Work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with RF communication.
Experience with RF protocols at the PHY/MAC/NWK layers such as 802.15.4, zigbee, BLE, or Wi-Fi.
Experience with a revision control system, GIT and GIT Flow is preferred.
Experience with Agile Scrum.
Experience with Unit Testing.
