Ericsson Digital Services provides solutions and platforms in OSS, BSS, Telecom Core, Communication Services, and Cloud Infrastructure – leveraging cloud and automation technology.

We are looking for a newly university graduate or Junior Software Engineer to join the Ericsson Digital Services business area and work in one of our cross functional teams together with our experienced developers who will mentor you during your journey, help you to grow your technical competence and to develop new skills to become more successful in your career.

You probably have done one or more internships and/or participated in open source projects.

Your job tasks will concern:

Design new software features in a virtualized and cloud native context
Implement and test new software functions according to our development process
Work according to Lean Agile methodologies
Participate in specification and review of requirements
Troubleshoot technical product issues that might arise, do a root-cause-analysis and provide fixes to the “Continues Integration - Continues Delivery” pipeline
Report status and progress to project management and escalate any deviations from plan

Other required competencies:

A university degree in Computer Science (preferably) or any other relevant technical area of knowledge
Programming experience in C/C++, Java and/or Python in Linux environment
Knowledgeable about Virtualization, Containers (Docker) and/or Cloud Native technologies, such as Kubernetes
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
