Product Designer

Qliro is now looking for a Product Designer to join us on our journey to create leading payments and consumer finance products. As a Product Designer, you will enter our product design studio with highly skilled designers and copywriters, and work in an agile environment in close co-operation with both Product Management and Development teams.

At Qliro, we are continuously improving and creating new products for our two customer groups – consumers and merchants. As a member of our product design studio, you will have the opportunity to work across the entire product portfolio with merchant products (Checkout, Client web), consumer assets (App, Website) and Consumer Finance products (Saving accounts, Personal Loans).

Right now, our design team is in a fascinating phase with an extensive brand project underway to build a design system that will define our company’s way of working with design and personality in the future. This system will cover all products and requires continuous improvements.

We are a team of designers and copywriters who love working together in an agile environment. We believe you are a designer who enjoys both autonomously and collaboratively to drive projects forward and come up with new creative ideas.

What you will do

- Developing design solutions for our products that are simple, friendly, beautiful, and effective using Sketch + Invision/Adobe Creative Suite/Flinto
- Understanding problems to solve for our customers, and – together with the rest of the design team – define and set goals for designing new and improving existing products
- With a focus on visual design, you will play a key role in creating graphical concepts and prototypes for product development with a look consistent with all of Qliro
- Working with different types of user groups, e.g., conducting User Research from initial user interviewing to user testing of prototypes
- Collaborating with front-end developers to efficiently implement high-quality product interfaces

Who are we looking for?

- Enthusiasm for digital design best practice, new interaction models, design standards and emerging technologies
- A good team fit who welcomes working within a collaborative team and environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional product development teams and present ideas and designs effectively to others
- Proficient in synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources to identify opportunities and recommend design directions.
- Ability to develop early concepts for hi-fi mockups, including wireframes and low fidelity prototypes
- Ability to define user scenarios and design themes
- Strong font, color, icon and compositions skills
- Experience from delivering guidelines and assets for mobile apps and responsive web products
- Experience working with agile methodology
- Previous experience within the FinTech industry, the ability to code prototypes or experience working with A/B-testing tools are considered a plus.
