  The offer

As a Senior Java Developer in our QA team, you’ll be responsible for building IT solutions and integrations to test tools and wide range of systems under test.
 
In the Banking Technology - QA Test Automation Team, we enable test automation for different development/maintenance teams by providing them with a toolset (Test Automation Framework) and guidance (test automation strategy) to prioritize and implement their test automation initiatives.
 
What you’ll be doing:
 
- Analyse, design, and implement changes to the test automation framework  
- Participate in sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements for the framework  
- Perform “Proof of Concept” on new framework requirements  
- Collaborate with the team members and the QA architect to design new solutions  
- Provide support to the framework users, as needed

Your background:  
 
- Expert in Java software development and object-oriented design (5+ years)  
- Proficient in SDLC tools and frameworks (e.g. Maven, JUnit, Git, Jenkins/Bamboo)  
- Experience with DevOps principles and tools (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)  
- Experience of building frameworks  
- Fluent in written and spoken English  
 
The following skill/knowledge sets are also valuable in this position:  
 
- Testing and Automation Methodologies (i.e. process-driven scripting, BDD, TDD)  
- Experience with test automation tools (i.e. Selenium, Cucumber, LeanFT)  
- ISTQB certified Tester on Foundation level or Test Automation Engineer on advanced level  
- Good SQL skills  
- Knowledge of ITIL v3.0 & SAFe
