We have an opening for a driven, communicative Solution Architect with an analytical mind and an investigative focus to join our team responsible for development and operations tools You will be an important key person in building H&Ms modern digital workplace and we believe that this is possible since you have relevant knowledge and are a true digital citizen.

Shared Systems are accountable for a mix of IT services – targeting both IT and business with over 20,000 users at H&M. It’s an area in transformation and it will provide many challenges going forward!

Here we find the frameworks .Net and Java, a journey that have only just started. Most of IT’s development tools (like JIRA, ALM, Teamcity etc.) and some strategical operational tools (Splunk, Dynatrace) are supported and maintained by “DOT” (Development and Operations Tools).

As a solution architect you will be a key player working in an area with business representatives, service responsible, system responsible, and development teams. We expect you to influence the architecture and landscape of the Delivery Area and we are also expecting you to contribute on an overall level in architectural matters through close collaboration with other architects within Shared Systems.

Your responsibilities:

Responsible for assessment, planning, design, testing, and technical documentation for development (.Net and Java) and operations tools
Serve as a subject matter expert for all different areas from Requirements all the way to Deploy on-prem or in cloud to meet H&M’s user productivity needs
Continuously identify tools on the market suitable for Requirements all the way to Deploy
Accountable for aligning with the Infrastructure teams on the technical architecture to effectively deliver the SW solutions in a sustainable and high-performing manner
Collaborate with experts across functions to integrate technical objectives into activities associated with accelerated development of new/improved user productivity solutions
Advances technical expertise within function. Proactively demonstrates leadership by advising and sharing knowledge and expert opinions with subordinates, peers, and senior management. Mentors and trains functional colleagues and assesses current and emerging business challenges enabling functional goal achievement
Sources and identifies emerging Digital Workplace technology trends from multiple internal and external sources and assess relevance. Integrates trends into functional short-term objectives
Applies imagination and innovation by creating, inventing, and implementing new or better approaches, alternatives and breakthrough ideas that are valued by customers within the function
Responsible for creating, and maintaining architecture plans, roadmaps and system maps for the area and ensuring that the design/development in the teams are aligned accordingly

And your skills include:

Experience of working in larger IT organizations and/or larger projects
5+ years of work experience in a fast-paced, technical environment in a similar role
Need to understand the importance of using a defined set of tools in work related to software development in a multi-dimensional environment
Know how to drive usage adoption of new methodologies and tools
Hands-on experience implementing and supporting SW developments
Expert knowledge of Atlassian Platform, Microfocus tools, and other SW development and deploy tools that is used in the industry
Ability to design, implement, document the architecture
IT Operations best practices/processes and service management
Possess strong technical, analytical, communication and management skills
Be able to work independently and provide timely status updates and manage multiple tasks daily
Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with end users, external providers and teammates
The ability to be flexible and understand a wide range of SW development technologies
Ability to create PowerPoint Presentations as a form of communication to management
Experience of delivering services and projects using outsourced partners
Skilled in service management in a global enterprise
Strong background in enterprise-class service delivery on multiple technologies
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
