Job description

We are looking for an embedded software engineer who will work in a multidisciplinary team in the research and development of mechatronic products for the aerospace industry. Your knowledge of software will complement the mechanical concepts of your colleagues. You have an affinity with lab work on the integration and testing of your software against hardware. You can work structurally and independently in a team, often on multiple projects simultaneously. You are creative, highly curious about the latest developments, and feel at ease with the uncertainty that is often associated with the complex scientific and engineering issues that we are working with. You are flexible and communicative, and can interact with customers to troubleshoot issues and gather requirements as well as suppliers to succeed in the integration of your software against their hardware.

We expect you to have:

BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
3+ years’ experience in embedded Linux. Knowledge of C and Python.
Experience in the software development life-cycle: drawing up the requirements, devising and describing the architecture, implementation, testing, debugging, bug-fixing, software versioning and revision control.
Fluency in the English language, both written and spoken.

Meritorious

Experience in object-oriented programming.
Knowledge of electronics and control systems.
Familiar with Git, SQL, TCP/IP and Yocto.
Fluency in the Swedish language, both written and spoken.

The most important thing is that you are a talented embedded software engineer who takes pride in the quality of your work. As a person, you are social, self-motivated and responsible with a strong drive, and thrive in a smaller, agile, company. Some travel might be required from time to time.
