Sunny at Sea was founded in 2011 and has 10 employees. We’re problem solvers, innovators, strat-egists, developers, and designers. They are the small agency for big clients. For Sunny at Sea, user experience is everything. It can start anywhere, at any time. That’s why their work cover all potential user experience touch points, ranging from digital to physical, from product packaging design to digital platforms or wayfinding systems. Sometimes it even results in a new product. They spend some of their days in their bright office at Kungsholmen in Stockholm. Other days, they are out on the field, in coffee shops, or in Tokyo. They work, work out, plan, play, design, talk, develop, re-search, think and travel. They hope to see you soon!

Arbetsuppgifter:

Work tasks
As a web developer you are a part of a team of Strategist, Developers, UX and Designers. You work with fullstack development, but the focus is more towards the backend side of the development process. The expectations are high as you´ll be working with some of Sweden´s most distinguished brands, but the rewards will be higher. Your part of the team is to create websites, mobile apps or e-commerce sites. The extent and technical demand varies with each project but as you are involved in the whole process from the design stage to implementation. It means that you have a significant impact on the solution already from get go.

Here you will also be presented to the idea of developing your own projects. Each week everyone sets aside time to work on your own projects together. Everyone comes together and chooses which projects to work on. In other words, you don’t need to quit your hobby projects because of work. You just do it in your work. This makes you stay up to date with the latest technologies.

Profil:

Education and Requirements
• Relevant college education or equivalent skill set
• At least a few years of work experience within web development
• Good knowledge of ASP.NET MVC and C#
• Experience of working with a CMS such as Episerver or Umbraco
• Previous experience of software development in a team
• Fluent in English orally as written; Swedish is a plus

Your analytical skill set helps you in understanding the business and creating value to users. You appreciate a beautiful design and value the user experience very high. You have good communicating skills and finds it easy to talk to people of different technical knowledge.
We believe that you are a team player and likes to motive and inspire the people around you. Sharing information and knowledge within the team is also a trait that represents you. You are a person that likes new technology and have a big interest in programming.
