Java Developer

To excel our already fast growth pace...

...we have decided to add another dimension to our product offering by including a platform. Not only will the platform distribute our awesome games, but also support our growth in terms of scalability, uptime and service. More importantly, it will form a crucial part of our product offering in terms of promotional tools and reporting and enabling entry into new markets and customers.

The project is essentially about executing a separation from Quickspin’s current platform partner - and being able to run such platform independently. Including, but not limited to: Set up hosting locations in multiple jurisdictions across the globe, set up and offer tech support to our licensees, ensuring compliance and certification for Quickspin and its licensees, integration and migration of new and existing licensees, ensure platform competence through know-how transfer from our existing partner. Development of new features, functions and support for new integration and market entries. This is a business-critical project which will have a vital part on company success in the years to come! The project will start with a core team of 3 individuals which will scale up to 20+ in the course of the next two years. Essentially, this would be like like joining a start-up company (although highly profitable from start) with everything that entails in terms of mandate, decision making and being able to influence your job and the way things are done.

We're looking for an awesome Java Developer

You have at least 3 years commercial Java experience (within the gaming or casino industry) and have excellent understanding of Java 8. It’s important that you have experience and motivates by Agile principles and have a strong belief in writing unit tests. You have good knowledge of interacting with the DB layer and SQL and are used to, and wants to, work in a multithreaded environment. And last, you need to have a good verbal and written communications skills in English.

We would be so happy if you also have;
- Passion about Casino (or any other gambling game)
- Basic understanding of Frontend technologies (JS/HTML/CSS)
- Experience in high transactional, high volume environments
- Knowledge of messaging protocols & scalability principles
- University degree in Software Engineering or similar
