WHAT WILL YOU WORK WITH?
As Production Test Engineer in the Maintenance team you work in a wide role with responsibility for test related matters in high volume production. Axis broad product portfolio and functionality means a wide and varied range of support needs. You are having close contact with our global contract partners who manufacture our products to make sure it runs smoothly. You will also be involved in product improvement activities during its life cycle and transferring production to additional production sites to be able to meet increasing production volumes.

You will work in a test team with the shared responsibility of maintaining the running production with high delivery precision. Flexibility and problem solving is on the daily agenda.

Your main tasks will be:

Provide production sites support on test related issues
Various problem-solving ranging from production set-up to deeper analysis of product and test system failures
Create conditions for product transfers between manufacturing sites by preparing equipment and knowledge building at the new manufacturer. Perform set-up on site and educate test operators and test technicians
Participate and drive test activities during design changes and test improvements within the product maintenance organization
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We think you are a hands-on person who is curious, responsible, organized and methodical. You enjoy problem-solving and you easily adapt to different situations. You should have a good ability to transfer knowledge to others. Ability to communicate is fundamental both in the contact with our manufacturers but also to build your internal network.

Furthermore, you have:

A high school degree or equivalent with a technical focus
Programming experience
A strong ability to collaborate on projects, between different departments and with different cultures
Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
 It is an advantage if you have:

Experience of National Instruments TestStand or other automated test system
Experience of electronics production such as assembly/test processes
Experience of test hardware like bed-of-nail fixtures and instrumentation
Knowledge of Linux
The position contains about 25 travel days per year, as you will get to travel to our manufacturing sites around the world.
