We are looking for a developer to join our Platform Management team.

OUR TEAM
We are a team within Axis Research & Development organization overall responsible for managing Axis Common Firmware Platform and upgrading products with new firmware. Our team works close together with the software and product development to ensure that Axis product portfolio is up-to-date and meet our customers’ requirements.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a member of one of our scrum team you will work with automating and benchmarking the delivery part of the Product Software DevOps loop. Your assignment will be to:

Participate in our transformation to DevOps and other improvement activities
Write scripts and adapt tools to automate our workflow and remove manual labour
Order new/updated infrastructure and improvements
Collect data, analyze and visualize statistics
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe you are analytic, curious and work well together with others. It is important that you have a holistic mindset and are interested in contributing to optimizing the integration and release workflow.

Suitable background for the position:

Master’s degree in engineering or similar
Knowledge of version control and change management
Knowledge of Jira, Git, Gerrit, Jenkins and Elasticsearch
Knowledge of DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Knowledge of Agile methodology such as Scrum
Knowledge of software and data acquisition design
Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, C-programming and database
